A delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus visited the Republic of Zimbabwe to hold talks about cooperation prospects in the field of education and research with a number of Zimbabwean universities from January 29 to February 02, 2023.
Following the talks, Ihar Voitau, BSTU Rector, signed Memoranda of Understanding with the following Zimbabwean universities: National University of Science and Technology, Harare University of Technology, Chinhoyi University of Technology, University of Zimbabwe, Lupane State University, Zimbabwe Open University.
The Memoranda provide for the following forms of academic collaboration:
–?exchange of experience, academic mobility of undergraduate, Master’s Degree and PhD students;
– staff exchange;
–?implementation of joint research projects in the areas of mutual interest;
–?double-degree programs;
–?training of Zimbabwean students in MSc, PhD and post-doc programs;
–?internships, professional development courses and retraining programs for Zimbabwean industry professionals.
