MINSK?– Strengthening international academic ties,?Shokhan Nurseitov, a PhD researcher from Auezov South Kazakhstan State University, has commenced a high-level research internship at?Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU).

Hosted by the?Department of Logging Machinery, Forest Roads, and Timber Production Technology, the internship (which began on January 12, 2026) serves as a bridge for advanced engineering knowledge between Belarus and Kazakhstan.

The core of Nurseitov’s research focuses on the critical field of?seismic resistance?for reinforced concrete structures. Under the mentorship of BSTU professors, the study explores how modern buildings withstand the world's most destructive forces. Key research areas include:?
